Boo<\/b>: Um…what tornado tore through the house? It, uh, looks like it kind of smacked Missus in the face too.<\/p>\n

Yeti<\/b>: [Grimacing<\/i>] Don’t tell me you have forgotten…. It’s tax season.<\/p>\n

Boo<\/b>: [Ducking<\/i>] oNOOOOnonononono – I remember this – hide me!!!<\/i> “Be afraid; be very-”<\/p>\n

Yeti<\/b>: Oh, you’re fine as long as you stay out of the papers and don’t scatter the stacks in your daily hubba hubba whoop whoops.<\/p>\n

Boo<\/b>: My what?<\/p>\n

Yeti<\/b>: Your blurry-furry-scurry hyper-pinball bounce-a-thons.<\/p>\n

Boo<\/b>: Do not<\/i> talk to me like you<\/i> don’t have those too.<\/p>\n

Yeti<\/b>: I do indeed. However, I do not charge into random objects in the process like you.<\/p>\n

Boo<\/b>: But now the stacks are everywhere!<\/p>\n

Yeti<\/b>: Don’t exaggerate. There’s a winding pathway cleared here and there – okay…it is a bit out of hand. But<\/i> it’s temporary.<\/p>\n

Boo<\/b>: It’s eternal!<\/p>\n

Yeti<\/b>: It only seems that way. <\/p>\n

Boo<\/b>: That’s because time stops and you don’t notice it.<\/p>\n

Yeti<\/b>: If time stopped, she wouldn’t stress out over the deadline.<\/p>\n

Boo<\/b>: The line is dead?!?<\/i> Wait – what line?<\/p>\n

Yeti<\/b>: What? No – the due date<\/i>, for taxes. She has to send a fee to some place with letters…<\/p>\n

Boo<\/b>: The post office<\/i>?<\/p>\n

Yeti<\/b>: Well, I guess they’re a step in it too. I mean the…oh, what is it? IRA? No…<\/p>\n

Boo<\/b>: The ER?<\/p>\n

Yeti<\/b>: If she keeps up the way she’s going, maybe…no…IRF or IRS or something…phooey, I don’t remember what it stands for – you know: the tax people<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Boo<\/b>: The TP?<\/p>\n

Yeti<\/b>: [Scowls<\/i>] Somehow I think that stands for something else…<\/p>\n

Boo<\/b>: So…tax<\/i> people…tax people<\/i>?<\/p>\n

Yeti<\/b>: Yes, they do.<\/p>\n

Boo<\/b>: How did you understand me? I<\/i> didn’t even understand it.<\/p>\n

Yeti<\/b>: Who really understands taxes? I don’t think most people<\/i> do.<\/p>\n

Boo<\/b>: Then why do they do it?<\/p>\n

Yeti<\/b>: I don’t know the why<\/i>, but it seems they have<\/i> to, like going to the vet to get unpleasant things extracted or probed.<\/p>\n

Boo<\/b>: I think I overheard someone say something about feeling probed in this process.<\/p>\n

Yeti<\/b>: [Wincing<\/i>] No wonder they’re in such a foul mood. Just stay out of the way till it’s over. You can’t help anyway.<\/p>\n

Boo<\/b>: Maybe I can remind her to take a nap.<\/p>\n

Yeti<\/b>: Yes…good luck with that.<\/p>\n
