Any typical night: Mister and Missus have settled in for the night. Yeti takes her place between their pillows, gets tickled under the chin, then rests her head on her little pillow next to her favorite toy\/adopted wee one Mousi.<\/em><\/p>\n

Mister<\/strong>: [Pulling on the covers<\/em>] Goodnight.<\/p>\n

Missus<\/strong>: [Tugging back<\/em>] Goodnight.<\/p>\n

Yeti<\/strong>: Purr…zzzzzz….<\/em><\/p>\n

[Some final stirring, settling, and then silence textured only by easy breathing…until…]<\/em><\/p>\n

Peekaboo<\/strong>: Mmrowwwl!<\/p>\n

Missus<\/strong>: Ugh, not again…<\/p>\n

Boo<\/strong>: MEEOWWWW!!! MRRROWWWLL!! [plop<\/em>]<\/p>\n

Mister<\/strong>: She brought us a “kill”…<\/p>\n

Boo<\/strong>: MURRROUGWWWWWWGRRW!!!<\/p>\n

Missus<\/strong>: And wants us to know about it. …Oy, ENOUGH already!<\/p>\n

Boo<\/strong>: Mow…[satisfied now that she’s been acknowledged, hopping up on the bed<\/em>]<\/p>\n

Mister<\/strong>: [shoving her off of him as she begins to boisterously bathe on him<\/em>] Off me!<\/p>\n

Missus<\/strong>: Hey, don’t get on me either…quit shaking the bed!<\/p>\n

Yeti<\/strong>: Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz<\/p>\n

Boo<\/strong>: [lick-a-lick-a-lick-a…<\/em>]<\/p>\n

Mister<\/strong>: Mmumf…<\/p>\n

Missus<\/strong>: Boo, pssshht<\/em>!<\/p>\n

Boo<\/strong>: [Relocating to lie half on top of Yeti<\/em>] Purrrrrrr<\/p>\n

Yeti<\/strong>: Mew…meh…hiss…grrrr-grrrowwll!<\/em><\/p>\n

Boo<\/strong>: MURROWW! Hiss!<\/em> [Feline activity escalates instantly<\/em>]<\/p>\n

Mister<\/strong>: [Pulling pillow over his head<\/em>] Omigosh it’s midnight already!<\/p>\n

Missus<\/strong>: [Shoving Boo to the foot of the bed<\/em>] Cool it!<\/p>\n

[Everyone squirms for a bit, and eventually settles down again. Finally, all is quiet.<\/em>]<\/p>\n

Yeti<\/strong>: Zzzzzzzzz….<\/p>\n

Missus<\/strong>: Zzzzzzzzz….<\/p>\n

Mister<\/strong>: Zzzzzzzzz….<\/p>\n

Boo<\/strong>: Meow. <\/p>\n

[*boot<\/em>* – plop!<\/em>]<\/p>\n
