Peekaboo<\/strong> (whispering<\/em>): Is anyone out there?<\/p>\n Yeti<\/strong> (also whispering<\/em>): I don’t know; I can’t tell…we don’t have cameras on the Internet community, nor do we even have analytics yet. Does it matter? We haven’t been on in a while. I can’t blame people if they gave up. We promised to post more, and (no longer whispering<\/em>) then look what happened! Life got in the way. Best laid plans of mice and men….<\/p>\n Boo<\/strong>: Mmmmmmice!<\/p>\n Yeti<\/strong>: No – it’s just a saying, Boo. No mice. (sighs while Boo considers this, then…<\/em>)<\/p>\n Boo<\/strong>: Do you think they’ll forgive us?<\/p>\n Yeti<\/strong>: Probably. We’re pretty cute.<\/p>\n Boo<\/strong>: Well, of course. I know that counts for a lot, but what if someone asks what happened to us?<\/p>\n Yeti<\/strong> (shrugging<\/em>): Tell the truth: I’ve been ill, and we’ve had a lot of outside projects. So has Missus. She’s been busy.<\/p>\n Boo<\/strong>: Yes, big projects, then more travel, then more projects, then more travel. She seems to be regrouping now.<\/p>\n Yeti<\/strong>: I was glad for the hiatus. I worked hard on all those posts and photo shoots. I deserved a vacation.<\/p>\n Boo<\/strong>: For like, a year<\/em>? C’mon, nobody<\/em> is THAT good.<\/p>\n Yeti<\/strong>: You have your opinion; I have mine. It’s over now, so let’s not waste more time on that.<\/p>\n Boo<\/strong>: So, can we commit to more posts, more often? I mean, the bar’s not set real high, right now. (grimaces<\/em>)<\/p>\n Yeti<\/strong>: Sure…let’s just not get overly optimistic. I was sick for a while. Let’s make sure I stay better. I’m so glad I’m off antibiotics!<\/p>\n Boo<\/strong>: You wouldn’t even share. They smelled good.<\/p>\n Yeti<\/strong>: I’d have gladly shared, if they weren’t the key to breathing, and if it wouldn’t have been bad for you since you weren’t even sick. I don’t know how you didn’t catch it too.<\/p>\n Boo<\/strong>: I think you snotting up everything pretty much built me a stronger immune system. Gross.<\/p>\n Yeti<\/strong>: I couldn’t help it. It was miserable. But, I have to admit…I’m not all against going to the vet anymore. They actually know what they’re doing!<\/p>\n Boo<\/strong> (shudders<\/em>): What was in that stuff, mind-control drugs???<\/p>\n Yeti<\/strong>: Banana flavoring, if I recall.<\/p>\n Boo<\/strong>: Bananas?! That’s bananas<\/em>! We’re CATS<\/em>! What genius thought banana flavoring would be of any interest to any cat – well, any cat but me?<\/p>\n Yeti<\/strong>: Maybe they use the same antibiotics for cats as for dogs. They, like you, will eat anything.<\/p>\n Boo<\/strong> (side-eyeing Yeti<\/em>): You’re not gonna start…barking<\/em>, or…something, are you?<\/p>\n Yeti<\/strong> (a sly smile creeping on her face): wwWWWWOOO<\/strong>OFff!<\/em><\/p>\n Boo<\/strong> (scuttling away in surprise, then creeping back toward Yeti<\/em>): Yikes! Hey…that wasn’t…nice. That wasn’t even like<\/em> you. But…wow, I have to admit it was pretty good<\/em>!<\/p>\n Yeti<\/strong>: Flattered you’re impressed. Missus always encourages being multi-lingual. Thought I’d give another one a shot.<\/p>\n Boo<\/strong>: How many languages do you<\/em> speak?<\/p>\n Yeti<\/strong>: Well of course we both speak human and cat. I won’t tell you any more. I tremble to imagine what.<\/p>\n Boo<\/strong>: You’re not always the best at filtering your own thoughts, there.<\/p>\n Yeti<\/strong>: But I<\/em> do it on purpose.<\/p>\n Boo<\/strong>: Aha! See how mean you are?<\/p>\n Yeti<\/strong>: No, it’s for the benefit of your own education. Everything on this site is educational<\/em>…yes, that’s it.<\/p>\n Boo<\/strong>: Oh boy.
